Nelly Belly was proud to be part of something truly special in Cleveland—teaming up with the SpidaCares Donovan Mitchell Foundation to support local students, teachers, and the greater community. Over the past year, we’ve had the honor of serving at four SpidaCares events, bringing our signature woodfired pizza and food truck catering to moments that truly matter.
One of the most recent events took place at JFK High School in Cleveland in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. The day was filled with energy, gratitude, and generosity as Donovan Mitchell’s family—including his mother and sister—personally handed out Adidas Spida apparel to students and faculty right beside our truck. We were blown away by the enthusiasm, the sense of community, and the clear love this foundation has for the city of Cleveland.
You can see highlights from the event—including a cameo from our bright, beloved food truck—on the Cleveland Cavaliers Facebook page.
“On behalf of Donovan Mitchell, he wants you to start your morning off right,” said a member of the SpidaCares team during the event. That’s a message we fully embrace here at Nelly Belly. Whether we’re serving up woodfired pizza at a wedding or cooking fresh food for a school full of students, we believe every day is better when it starts with good food and kindness.
We’re grateful to the Donovan Mitchell Foundation for letting us be a part of their mission to uplift and inspire. To be recognized and included in their efforts—even featured alongside them on social media—is an honor we don’t take lightly.
