Job Description Director of Finance & Operations\n Our client is a growing national nonprofit seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to lead the organization’s finance function and support key operational initiatives. \n Why This Role? \n This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven, growing nonprofit and have a meaningful impact across both finance and operations. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and have significant ownership over the organization’s financial strategy and infrastructure. \n What You’ll Get \n \n \n $150K–$180K base salary \n \n Up to 5% bonus \n \n Fully remote with minimal travel \n \n Employer-paid employee medical coverage \n \n What You’ll Do \n \n \n Lead accounting and financial operations. \n \n Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. \n \n Oversee financial reporting, audit, and compliance. \n \n Manage grant accounting and restricted funds. \n \n Oversee payroll, benefits, technology, insurance, and vendors. \n \n Partner with executive leadership and the Board. \n \n Strengthen processes as the organization continues to grow. \n \n Lead and develop a small finance team. \n \n What We’re Looking For \n \n \n 10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience \n \n Strong nonprofit accounting experience \n \n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field \n \n CPA strongly preferred \n \n Experience managing a $10M organization or budget \n \n Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills \n \n Experience with grants, restricted funds, and nonprofit compliance \n \n Experience with 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) organizations is a plus \n \n Strong communication and leadership skills \n \n Consistent career progression and tenure \n \naa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
